Strategic Brand Refresh, UX Modernization, and Product Expansion

CASE STUDY

OVERVIEW

 

TouchPros, a national leader in digital recognition displays for schools and athletic programs, sought to modernize their core TouchWall product while preserving the brand loyalty they had built over a decade.


As Creative Director, my goal was to refresh the brand identity, unify the sales and marketing systems, enhance product usability, and help position TouchPros for continued growth across the U.S.

THE CHALLENGE

 

TouchPros faced multiple parallel challenges:

  • Modernize the aging TouchWall UI without alienating long-term clients

  • Unify disconnected brand, sales, and marketing materials into a cohesive system

  • Support the sales team with stronger visual tools and updated brand messaging

  • Develop sub-brands and feature identities for new offerings like TouchWall 6, StreamPro, and Tournament Mode

  • Maintain user-friendliness across a diverse audience (students, alumni, administrators)

 

The task wasn’t a full rebrand; the original logo remained. But nearly every other brand touchpoint needed strategic overhaul and creative leadership.

THE STRATEGY

 

We approached the refresh in stages, ensuring updates felt evolutionary, not revolutionary:

  • Visual Refresh:
    Introduced new brand guidelines, typography systems, color palettes, and iconography—creating a polished, unified brand experience across all platforms.

  • TouchWall 6 Redesign:
    Reimagined the interface for faster navigation, intuitive user flows, and a more dynamic, sports-inspired visual language. Modern, energetic, and accessible—appealing to students, alumni, and staff alike.

  • Sales Enablement:
    Developed brochures, interactive maps, pricing guides, spec sheets, and trade show branding to arm the sales team with tools that elevated product presentation and storytelling.

  • Feature Branding:
    Created sub-branding systems for StreamPro (sports livestreaming) and conceptualized Tournament Mode (athletic tournament tracking) to give sales teams new selling points in competitive markets.

  • Content Empowerment:
    Authored a Content Creator Guide to help athletic directors and coaches maximize the visual quality of their TouchWall content—fostering client success and platform stickiness.

 

The goal throughout: maintain continuity for loyal customers while elevating every user and client-facing experience.

TouchPros expanded their installed base by nearly 25%, driven by brand modernization, user experience improvements, and a stronger sales foundation.

Creative operational highlights included:

  • 120+ creative projects delivered across branding, UX/UI, sales, and product design

  • 300+ production assets created, including brochures, training materials, email campaigns, and site content

  • First-ever unified brand guidelines rolled out across departments and client-facing materials

REFLECTION

 

TouchPros became a pivotal experience in refining my leadership as a Creative Director.

I learned how to balance historical brand equity with innovation; how to align internal teams around a shared creative vision; how to build scalable systems that empower both internal operations and client experiences.

It’s easy to make something flashy once.


It’s much harder—and more rewarding—to create systems that help a brand thrive for years to come.

Those lessons now form a core part of the philosophy behind Marceli Jasinski Creative.
